What areas do you serve?

Personal chef services are available throughout Los Angeles and select communities in Ventura County, generally within a 25-mile radius of Westlake Village.

If you're unsure whether your location falls within the service area, please feel free to inquire.

Do you travel outside of your service area?

Requests outside of the standard service area may be accommodated on a case-by-case basis depending on location, scheduling, and service needs.

How much do personal chef services cost?

Personal chef services begin at $600 per visit, including grocery costs. Final pricing may vary based on menu selection, household size, service frequency, and location.

How are menus customized to my preferences?

During your consultation, we'll discuss your favorite foods, dietary preferences, allergies, restrictions, nutritional goals, and any foods you prefer to avoid. Menus are thoughtfully tailored to your household's unique needs and tastes.

Can menus accommodate dietary restrictions and preferences?

Absolutely. Menus can be customized to accommodate a wide range of dietary preferences, allergies, and nutritional goals.

Where do you source ingredients?

Ingredients are personally sourced from trusted local markets and specialty suppliers throughout Los Angeles. Whenever available, seasonal produce and high-quality ingredients are prioritized to ensure freshness and flavor.

Can I provide my own ingredients?

For food safety, quality control, and liability reasons, ingredients are sourced by the chef. If there is a specific ingredient or product you would like incorporated into your menu, please discuss it during your consultation.

Do I need to be home during service?

No. Many clients are working, running errands, or away from home while their meals are being prepared.

How often can services be scheduled?

Services are available on a one-time, weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly basis, depending on your needs and availability.

How can I prepare for my service?

Prior to your scheduled visit, please ensure that kitchen counters are clear, the sink is available, and sufficient refrigerator and freezer space is available for meal storage.

Did you attend culinary school?

Yes. Chef Hallie is classically trained in French cuisine and earned an Associate of Science in Culinary Arts from the California School of Culinary Arts (Le Cordon Bleu Program) in Pasadena, California.

Are you food safety certified?

Yes. Chef Hallie maintains current ServSafe certification.

Are you insured?

Yes. Chef Hallie is fully insured.

Will you sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA)?

Yes. Client privacy and confidentiality are always treated with the utmost professionalism, and non-disclosure agreements are welcomed when requested.

Private Dinners & Special Events

Do you offer private dinners and special events?

Yes. Private dining and special event services are available for intimate gatherings ranging from 2 to 20 guests.

How many guests can you accommodate?

Private dining services are available for 2–20 guests, with formally plated dinners typically accommodating up to 14 guests.

How much do private dining and special event services cost?

Private dining and special event services begin at $800. Final pricing is based on guest count, menu selection, service style, and overall event scope. Grocery costs and any additional staffing or rental needs are billed separately.

Do you provide servers or bartenders?

Professional servers and event staff can be arranged upon request. We are happy to recommend trusted staffing companies we have worked with in the past.

Do you serve alcohol?

Hosts are responsible for the purchase and service of all alcoholic beverages.
